"I'm a product of those programs, so I knew how vital they were in helping students achieve their dreams of a college education." Now he lobbies full time for nonprofit clients in the areas of social justice and criminal justice. "The greatest thing about my job is I get to help people." - Call for nominations for the Calvin E. Handy Leadership Award — For leadership in crime prevention and public safety. Eligibility extends to all students, staff and faculty, as well as Davis and Sacramento campus neighbors, plus community organizations, business and service groups, and government agencies.
