Academic Affairs Vice Provost Maureen Stanton announces UC Davis' eighth annual class of Hellman Fellows, 12 recipients of early career awards ranging from $12,000 to $44,000 — a total of $293,492. Stanton, citing the originality and potential impact of Hellman Fellows' work, says "we are in the capable hands of an outstanding new generation of faculty" as UC Davis strives toward being the University of the 21st Century.
