Wainwright appointed interim dean of Bio Sci
Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi taps evolution and ecology professor Peter C. Wainwright to serve as the interim dean of the College of Biological Sciences, effective July 1. Wainwright has been the college's executive associate dean for resources and research since 2013, working under James Hildreth, who is leaving after nearly four years to become the president of Meharry Medical College in Nashville. The Office of Research announces the establishment of the Research Core Facilities Program, a multiyear, multimillion-dollar initiative to oversee and strengthen the university's core research infrastructure and research services.
