'Strong and united against hatred'
Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi and leaders from the Jewish and Muslim communities and Celebration of Abraham are asking people "to stand strong and united against intolerance and hatred of all forms." In a message sent Friday (Feb. 6) to the campus community, the leaders also expressed hope "that others will join us in condemning all forms of hate speech and actions, from whatever quarter they may come." RESEARCH: Smoke exposure, in utero, linked to diabetes

New students need measles vaccinations, more, in '17
UC will require incoming students to be screened for tuberculosis and vaccinated for measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, meningococcus, tetanus and whooping cough, under a plan set to take effect in 2017. [ More… ]

UC Davis Stores has established three new retail partnerships, two of them online (Promoversity, for customized UC Davis products; and Newegg, for electronic goods) and one that will bring an "automated coinvenience store" to the south side of the Memorial Union.
