Vendor apologizes for extended SmartSite outage
SmartSite host apologizes for hardware failures that brought down the course-management system for 31 hours late last week. Campus administrators had earlier called the outage unacceptable and said they would meet with the vendor to discuss steps it will undertake to minimize the risk of any recurrence of this kind of outage. Federation honors excellence in teaching, research
The Academic Federation honors three of its members with awards of excellence: Kyria Boundy-Mills, recipient of the Excellence in Research Award; and Andrea Khoo and Karma Waltonen, recipients of Excellence in Teaching Awards.
