UC Davis Named to ‘Greatest Workplaces’ Lists Again

Marcia Faustin, a family medicine and sports medicine physician and the co-head team physician for Intercollegiate Athletics, was recreated in a display of life-size statues of women in STEM and sports at the World Cup Fan Festival in Dallas.
Honor societies — The UC Davis chapters of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi are updating their rosters of members on campus, including those inducted by their undergraduate alma maters. Members are encouraged to fill out a survey to identify themselves.
ARC parking lot closure — Lot 25 will remain closed through Sept. 11 for construction to change the flow of cars, pedestrians, bikes and more. Nearby, hourly parking is now available in the Pavilion Parking Structure.
Summer schedule — Dateline is operating on a reduced schedule during the summer; our next publication date after today will be Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The Davis Farmers Market, founded by students and alumni, will hold an event Saturday (Aug. 1) with a cooking demonstration, live music, photo booth, guest speakers and more.
