In the Top 10 for the Fifth Year

UC Davis is tied for the ninth-best public university in a new ranking from U.S. News & World Report, the fifth consecutive year it has been named in the outlet’s top 10. The university also ranked 18th among public institutions in social mobility, and was named the 21st most innovative.

Gifts Drive Vet Med Expansion

The School of Veterinary Medicine last week celebrated the opening of a new imaging center, and announced a decade-long expansion that will include a new veterinary education pavilion, primary care hospital, equine hospital, veterinary cancer center, spay-neuter clinic and raptor center.

Fall Brings More Food Options

Numerous food changes are in the works this fall: Breakfast is now available at the international eatery Latitude, food options have expanded at the King Hall Peet’s, a construction project will bring more outdoor seating to the Coffee House and more.
