UC Davis Develops and Tests New Drug for Bladder Cancer
Clinical trials are underway at UC Davis Health for a new drug delivery system that targets cancerous cells in the bladder while sparing healthy ones, and early results are promising — three out of four patients have complete remission of their tumors. Work to bring the drug to human trials was funded in part by the federal government.

Executive recruitment — A listening session will be held Wednesday (Nov. 19) for students, faculty and staff to share their thoughts on the qualities, experiences and characteristics desired in the next dean of the Graduate School of Management.

Call for international proposals — Grants of up to $20,000 are available for innovative and interdisciplinary international research with partners in any country, with additional funding available for collaborators from certain areas. (Deadline: Dec. 11)
Donations for Citations — A program that allows for donating to The Pantry in place of paying a parking citation or invoice fee ends this week.
Road closures — Portions of California Avenue, North Quad and Sprocket Bikeway will be closed starting Dec. 1 for work related to the Big Shift.
