Next UC President: Milliken

Effective Aug. 1, the University of California will be led by James B. Milliken, who has experience overseeing the University of Texas system, The City University of New York and the University of Nebraska. Chancellor Gary S. May offered his congratulations.

Recycling For a Better Road

Could roads someday include recycled tires and reclaimed asphalt pavement? That’s a question that’s being explored on campus, where roads near the University Airport and Putah Creek Reserve were repaved last week with new types of materials.

Research Has A Direct Impact
