3 Health Leaders Appointed

Chancellor Gary S. May on Friday (Jan. 31) named three to leadership roles at UC Davis Health: Michael Condrin as the interim CEO, Bruce Lee Hall as interim vice chancellor of human health sciences, and Susan Murin as permanent dean of the School of Medicine. The interim roles take effect next week.

Students’ New Medical Tech

When students showed off what they had created in a 10-week biomedical engineering-focused Quarter at Aggie Square program, they highlighted prototypes of stroke-detection devices, noninvasive glucose monitors and more.

Splashing into Crowdfund

A record number of projects — 39 in all — are raising money through Crowdfund UC Davis this month. They include teams competing in dragon boat racing, raising money for clean water infrastructure in South America and granting “wishes” for ICU patients.
