Call for book project titles — The Campus Community Book Project’s 2025-26 theme is belonging, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the Principles of Community, and organizers are asking for nominations for books related to that theme. (Deadline: July 24)
Save the Moove-In dates — Student Housing is asking the campus community to be aware of traffic and parking impacts, and to sign up to be notified when the Moove-In Crew volunteer signup form goes live. Moove-In dates are as follows: Orchard Park/Primero Grove (Aug. 1, Sept. 1); The Green at West Village (Sept. 3-4, Sept. 13); residence halls (Sept. 17-19, plus early Moove-In Sept. 16).
Career Development Week — Applications are sought by July 22 from those who are interested in presenting at Learning and Organizational Development’s series of workshops and resource fairs to be held Nov. 18-22.
Dateline summer schedule — Dateline is operating on a reduced schedule during the summer; our next publication date after today will be Tuesday, July 30.
This fall, Chancellor Gary S. May will share the stage with Brittney Griner, the WNBA all-star who spent nearly 10 months in Russian custody. Tickets for the event will go on sale to faculty and staff July 25. (Nov. 3)
The Bohart Museum of Entomology is gearing up for its annual Moth Night celebration, including time with John De Benedictis, better known as “The Moth Man.” (July 20, free)
