Exploring Arneson’s Legacy

Members of the campus community reflected last week on the lasting impact of Robert Arneson, whose Eggheads have become unofficial campus mascots in the 30 years since their installation. Chancellor Gary S. May joined in to help kick off the Year of the Eggheads.

New Vegan Dishes in April

UC Davis eateries have unveiled new dishes for the Yolo County Vegan Chef Challenge, pitting their falafel plate, mushroom burger and masala dosa against the best other restaurants in the region have to offer. The vegan creations are available until the end of April.

Call for First-Year Aggie Connections facilitators — Faculty, staff and graduate students can make an impact on the lives of new students by hosting a Connection made up of around 25 students that share a common interest. An informational session will be held Thursday (April 11).

Executive recruitment: Dean-School of Law — Forums will be held next week to hear two candidates’ qualifications and visions for the school.

Public Scholarship Faculty Fellows — Faculty, researchers and continuing lecturers working toward a specific public scholarship goal are encouraged to apply for this fellowship by May 15.
