Student Examines AI Use

Writing for UC Davis Magazine, junior Shelby Dioum looks at efforts by officials to define proper and improper uses of artificial intelligence. She reflects on a classmate’s encouragement to use it for an assignment, and speaks with a faculty member who used it to write part of a syllabus.

Flu Shot Season: Act by Dec. 1

The University of California has maintained its policy requiring all students and employees to get a flu shot or opt out by Dec. 1. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, three clinics for employees are scheduled to be held on campus. The UC policy also continues to require COVID-19 vaccination.
