Faculty’s ‘Quantum’ Outreach

Three professors, along with a dozen student volunteers, recently kicked off a workshop series for high schoolers interested in quantum computing. They showcased research in areas like cryptography and toured the College of Engineering’s cleanroom. They also posed questions like, “what is a qubit and what is it good for?”
