It Wasn’t Always This Way

Looking back 11,000 years, a new study indicates the climate of the western U.S. that we know today is “only” about 4,000 years old, and offers a long-term perspective on how the climate may change in the future.

Chancellor’s Fellowships for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion — Call for applications from faculty members who have demonstrated a significant track record of abiding commitment to reducing opportunity gaps for underrepresented students and/or students from underserved communities. Each fellowship provides $5,000 in academic enrichment funds. Deadline: March 9.

UC Women’s Initiative for Professional Development — This systemwide, experiential program designed to cultivate connections across UC is accepting nominations and applications from the Davis campus and UC Davis Health.
