“Checking In With Chancellor May” — Strategic Communications is hearing from many people who say they did not receive Chancellor May’s letter Friday (Feb. 17). We are looking into the cause. The letter, which you can read here, included important information about changes to the campus’s COVID-19 policies effective Feb. 28.

Staff Assembly Citations of Excellence — Call for nominations for citations recognizing individual staff members and teams for outstanding achievements that go above and beyond the requirements outlined in their position descriptions. Deadline: March 15.

Staff and Staff Dependent Scholarship Program — Call for applications for scholarships administered by the UC Davis/UC Davis Health Staff Assembly Scholarship Committee. Deadline: March 15.

ADMAN Conference 2023 — Registration is open for this annual program put on by the Administrative Management Group, or ADMAN, for staff at all levels. This year’s conference will be Tuesday, March 21, in person, with the theme “The Power Within You!” A limited number of scholarships are available for departments with limited training funds.

Staff advisor to the Board of Regents — Applications are being accepted for two-year term, July 2023 to June 2025, the first year as staff advisor-designate, the second year as staff advisor. Deadline: March 24.

Writing Across the Curriculum Seminar and Workshop — Registration is open for this program for faculty and other instructors, including teaching assistants, to be held Friday, March 3, in person and on Zoom. Presented by the University Writing Program.
