The San Francisco Symphony will launch the Mondavi Center’s 20th anniversary season, Thursday, Oct. 6, almost 20 years to the day after the orchestra performed for the center’s formal dedication. Discounts are available for select shows throughout the season: $20 for Our 20th, just announced, for everyone; and the Well-Being Ticket Deal, $10 tickets for staff and faculty.

‘Crowd’ On In, Lend Support
|
Crowdfund UC Davis returns Saturday (Oct. 1) with 26 teams of students, faculty and staff seeking donations for programs and services that strengthen the UC Davis community and our impact on the world. One initiative comes with a kickoff event, Thursday (Sept. 29), at Sudwerk Brewing Co., benefiting the Tapping Potential Fund, which aims to increase diversity in the brewing industry.

Athletics Center Unveiled

Hundreds of people turned out Saturday (Sept. 24) for the dedication of the Edwards Family Athletics Center, a new hub for Aggie student-athletes — for strength and conditioning, sports medicine and team meetings, and for academic work and Aggie EVO programming for successful launch after graduation.

TLC Is Next to Be Dedicated
|
It’s time to celebrate the campus’s first new general classroom building in more than 50 years: Everyone is invited to the dedication Tuesday, Oct. 4, of the Teaching and Learning Complex, featuring speakers, refreshments and behind-the-scenes tours from some of the people who helped make the $86 million building a reality.

Unitrans — Due to the continuing shortage of drivers, Modified Regular Service is in effect weekdays. Modified Regular Service is a reduction from prepandemic levels. Expect crowded buses and possible bypassing. Unitrans advises riders to take a bus 30 minutes before class time or other appointments.
