Flu shots — All employees must receive a flu vaccination or formally opt out by Dec. 1. Shots are available from your health care provider, county clinics and many pharmacies, and at the last of three on-campus clinics, Oct. 27.

Call for nominations for the Chancellor’s Achievement Awards for Diversity and Community — For faculty, staff and students, and local community members, honoring achievements that contribute in substantial ways to the development and well-being of our diverse community. The nomination link will go live by this Friday, Oct. 28; the deadline is midnight Monday, Nov. 21.
|
General election, Tuesday, Nov. 8 — Ballots can be returned up until 8 p.m. Election Day in the official Yolo County drop box at Hunt Hall (outside, available 24 hours a day). Late registration: You can sign up and vote with conditional registration at a county elections office or vote center, up to and including Election Day. UC Davis will host a vote center in Ballrooms A and B of the Activities and Recreation Center, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday through Monday, Nov. 5-7, and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Election Day.

Blood drive — 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Nov. 8-10, bloodmobiles on the Quad. Appointments are encouraged and can be arranged online or by calling 877-258-4825.

Spine-chilling chords and cackling runs bring alive a concert of things that go bump in the night, with black cats, Jekyll and Hyde, and even compositions written by spirits. Featuring works by J.S. Pregame 1:30 p.m.: Music, lawn games and kids zone at Tailgate Town, where you can buy pizza and beer. Kickoff 4 p.m.: Aggies vs. the Cal Poly Mustangs in the Battle for the Golden Horseshoe.
