“Living With COVID-19: “What’s Next?” Read and hear what physicians Cindy Schorzman, Sheri Belafsky and Aimee Sisson, from UC Davis, Healthy Davis Together and Yolo County Public Health, respectively, and Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Mary Croughan, an epidemiologist, had to say during a town hall Monday evening (Feb. 28).

May: ‘We Remain Strong’
|
The mere fact that Chancellor Gary S. May was able to deliver this year’s State of the Campus address in person further bolstered the optimism he expressed for the days ahead. “I expect that we’ll see the campus return to more of the ‘normal’ that we know,” he said last week in his annual address to the Academic Senate’s Representative Assembly.

Burtis Earns Emeriti Award
|
Ken Burtis has been named the recipient of UC Davis’ Distinguished Emeriti Award for 2021-22, recognized by the Emeriti Association for “essential contributions” to Healthy Davis Together. He played an integral role in establishing the university’s asymptomatic COVID-19 testing program and expanding it into the community

Unitrans Is Having a Party
|
After being sidelined for nearly two years because of the pandemic, Unitrans’ vintage double-deckers from London are going back to work for the transit system’s 54th birthday this Friday (March 4). The party will include free rides, refreshments and swag; lunchtime shuttle service between the MU and downtown; and a noontime parade.
