Provost’s Latest Fall Update

UCOP Seeks Safety Feedback

The draft Presidential Campus Safety Plan strives for a culture, policies and practices to achieve a vision of safety in which all members of the community feel equally welcomed, respected and protected from harm. UC Davis has created a webpage where you can read the plan and submit comments (due by June 30).

Seismic Projects Underway

A dozen campus construction projects are in progress to comply with the University of California’s updated seismic safety standards. One-hundred-fifty other buildings, out of 1,186, have seismic ratings requiring further study and possible improvement, all of which must be completed by 2030.

Alumna Is Yosemite Boss

From UC Davis Magazine: Cicely Muldoon’s volunteer work at UC Davis’ California Raptor Center provided her entrée into the National Park Service. “And I never looked back,” the 1988 graduate says. In a 35-year career, she's gone from Alaska and Hawaii to Arkansas, and now to superintendent of Yosemite.
