UC Davis firefighters, on the front lines of a blaze along the California-Nevada border, encountered an hours-long firestorm as they fought to save a subdivision. The result: no houses were lost to the Tamarack Fire.

Admissions Data Released

UC Davis offered freshman and transfer admission status for fall 2021 to a record 52,254 applicants, including an all-time high of 31,772 California residents. The admission total is up 14 percent from the year before.
