Yolo County Back in Purple, Forcing ARC to Close Again

Almost all counties in the state today returned to the strictest pandemic restrictions. On campus, that means the ARC and Craft Center are closed again (group exercise classes will be held outdoors), and the two dining commons that allowed indoor dining have gone back to takeout only. The Coffee House is open for takeout and delivery.

Work or Study on Campus? You Must Get a COVID-19 Test

COVID-19 tests for all staff, faculty and students on campus will begin Wednesday (Nov. 18). And, as of Dec. 1, tests will be required before entering any campus facility. Fighting the Stigma of Jails

A campus program launches this month to offer support — in the form of academic advising, mental health counseling and more — to students, faculty and staff who have been incarcerated or whose family members have. Beyond the Barriers also gives those so-called system-impacted people space to tell their stories.

Prized Writing Flies Online

A fall ceremony for our prized writers of 2019-20 has been postponed, due to the pandemic, but you can read their works now, online. The University Writing Program’s Prized Writing comprises works by students from across the disciplines. The 2019-20 writers will be honored in the spring when their book (Volume 31) comes out in print.
