UC Davis Health Clinic to Be Built on Campus

Construction is about to start on a UC Davis Health clinic on the Davis campus, offering primary care services to faculty and staff and others in the community who are patients of the health system. The clinic, due to open in November, will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

She’s doing so as co-director of the student-run Joan Viteri Memorial Clinic in Oak Park, and is studying the link between poverty and substance use.

UC Davis has joined UC Davis Health on Forbes’ annual ranking of “America’s Best Employers for Diversity,” published Jan. 21. “We understand that diversity makes us a stronger organization and will continue to strive for inclusive excellence in everything we do,” Vice Chancellor Renetta Garrison Tull said.
