UCPath: On track for deployment in the fall
UC’s new payroll and personnel system performed much stronger in the latest round of testing for deployment at UC Davis, which has the campus’s UCPath team optimistic the system will come online as scheduled in September (with the first round of paychecks starting Oct. 1). [ More… ]
- Learn more at one-hour UCPath town halls: 10 will be held on the Davis campus, almost weekly, July 17-Sept. 25; and six will be held at UC Davis Health, weekly, Aug. 13-Sept. 16.
- Starting Oct. 1, paper paychecks will come by U.S. mail. Avoid the delay by signing up for direct deposit. If you already have direct deposit, you’re fine — everything stays the same.

- ERP Boot Camp — The Center for Mind and Brain co-sponsors this program for scientists from around the world, on how to best record “event-related potentials (ERPs),” the electrical signals generated in the brain in response to events like a spoken word or an image on a computer screen. - Bus stop relocated temporarily — The intercampus shuttle and YoloBus stop in Visitor Parking Lot 56 (in the Health Sciences District) is closed through Aug. 31 to make way for a steam vault project. The buses are instead dropping off and picking up passengers at sheltered bus stops (one eastbound, one westbound) on Hutchison Drive at Health Sciences Drive.
