Clery Act crime report for 2011 released

Crimes reported at UC Davis in 2011 showed little change from the previous year, according to the annual report filed in compliance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Nobel laureate to give public talk on brain injuries

Stanley Prusiner is due on campus to give a free public talk on "Brain Injuries: Soldiers, Football Players and Alzheimer's Patients." The neurologist, a professor at UC San Francisco, discovered a class of infectious proteins that cause mad cow disease and related neurodegenerative ailments in animals and people. [ More… ]
