- National Science Foundation Partnerships for International Research and Education, or PIRE — Information session May 23: No more space available in the meeting room, but other people interested in participating can join a teleconference. Hosted by Global Affairs and the Office of Research.
- Diversity and Inclusion Innovation Grants — Call for applications from students, faculty and staff for projects in 2018-19 that will promote and enhance diversity and inclusion at the university. For the coming year, the organizers have particular interest in proposals that most directly connect with or impact students. Deadline: May 25.
- Global Affairs’ Curriculum Internationalization — Call for applications from faculty in all fields to participate in this program during the 2018-19 academic year. Deadline: May 30.
- Imagining America — Invitation for proposals for the organization’s 18th annual national gathering. The theme is “Transformative Imaginations: Decarceration and Liberatory Futures.” Deadline: June 22.

HEALTHY UC DAVIS: Food map, ‘Stigma-Free’ and diabetes prevention
Students have developed a digital map “to make it easier for UC Davis community members to find food on campus that meets their needs,” including free food. Also, the “Stigma-Free UC” initiative will present a webinar, Wednesday (May 23), on the topic of mental health awareness, and the Staff and Faculty Health and Well-Being Program announces a Diabetes Prevention Program with an introductory meeting set for June 28.
