International Center ready for debut

Partnership program leverages our purchasing power

Instead of going it alone when seeking corporate partners, campus units will work together in the new UC Davis Preferred Partnership Program, or UP3, with a goal of harvesting greater student scholarships, internship opportunities and much needed funding to support the mission of the university. RESEARCH: Pigeon study takes on sexism in science

A study finds surprisingly big differences in tissue gene expression between male and female rock doves, leading the authors, including Rebecca Calisi of UC Davis, to challenge scientists' tendency to use mostly male animals in experimental research not involving reproduction or sexual behavior.
