- Chancellor recruitment — New UC Davis webpage provides information on this global search, which is being conducted by the UC Office of the President.
- Call for applications for the position of faculty director, Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life — National recruitment by UC Davis and Imagining America, which will operate out of UC Davis starting next summer. Imagining America is a national consortium of nearly 100 academic institutions and cultural organizations dedicated to advancing civic engagement, democratic culture and equity within higher education, through the approaches of the arts, humanities and design.
- Call for nominations for Distinguished Emeritus/a Award — Deadline 5 p.m. Nov. 23.
- Road closures — Portions of Brooks and Levee roads, west of Highway 113, will be closed to through traffic Sept. 19-26 (this time frame is later than originally announced). The construction zone stretches between the UC Davis sheep barn and Hopkins Road. Putah Creek recreation areas can be accessed from Hopkins. Read about how this project incorporates pavement research.
- Road closure — Kleiber Hall Drive is closed to all traffic between Hutchison Hall and California Avenue through Sept. 16, for utility and road work.
