New support for undocumented students
UC President Napolitano earmarks $8.4 million a year through the 2018-19 academic year in support of undocumented students across the system. The allocation includes $900,000 annually for the UC Undocumented Legal Services Center, which is run by the UC Davis School of Law. [ More… ]

Professor Walter Leal and a group of biochemistry students have organized a Zika virus symposium featuring university experts and others from Brazil, the epicenter of the outbreak. - Staff MBA Scholarships — With this new program, the Graduate School of Management invites eligible staff members to apply for $7,200 in fee assistance annually for three years in the GSM's part-time MBA programs in Sacramento or the Bay Area.
- Road closure — Tercero Hall Circle will be closed just east of Dairy Road from Wednesday, May 18, to Friday, Sept. 2, for underground construction. Detours will be posted for alternate routes via Hutchison Drive and Bioletti Way. Cars and trucks will be permitted temporary access to Tercero Hall Circle off Bioletti Way.
- Voyager Fleet Cards expire May 31.

UC Davis arts are in overdrive, with eight concerts by the Jazz Bands, Symphony Orchestra and other university ensembles; four exhibitions by M.F.A. students; two film festivals, one featuring student-produced short films and the other the being the Davis Feminist Film Festival; and a theatrical production rooted in The Simpsons.
