Seeta Chaganti, associate professor of English, has been appointed interim director of the UC Davis Humanities Institute, taking the place of Carolyn de la Peña, who is now serving as interim vice provost for Undergraduate Education. The institute plans a farewell reception for de la Peña on Jan. 22.
