Early intervention for autism

Matthew Wiliams and his family are among the fortunate who've benefited from a new intensive early intervention therapy for young children with autism. TAPS and police give lights to students riding in the dark

TAPS and the campus Police Department have teamed up to offer free bike lights — instead of citations — to students who are stopped at night without one. Survey hits 25 percent mark: Have YOU been heard yet?

Nearly one in four faculty, staff and students on the Davis and Sacramento campuses have responded to the Campus Community Survey in its first two weeks. Now the survey leaders are pushing hard to hear from the other 75 percent. New outreach efforts include paper surveys in English and Spanish; Survey Nights in computer labs; and a video pep talk by Associate Executive Vice Chancellor Rahim Reed.
